Thanksgiving Tips
all Pies
If serving within three days: refrigerate, then pull from the fridge to temper for 45-90 minutes before serving. Best eaten within 5 days of initial refrigeration.
If you want to enjoy the Pecan or Apple pies warm, pull to temper then heat in a 325ºF oven for 10-15 minutes.
If serving after three days: you can freeze pies for up to two weeks. Move it to the fridge the night before serving, then follow the same instructions as above.
FOCACCIA Stuffing
If serving within three days: refrigerate, then pull from the fridge to temper for 45-90 minutes before reheating. Place on a baking sheet and reheat in the oven at 325ºF for 30 minutes or until fragrant. Best eaten within 4-5 days of initial refrigeration.
If serving after three days: you can freeze it for up to two weeks. Move it to the fridge the night before serving, then follow the same instructions as above.
Green Bean Casserole Danishes & Breakfast Danishes
If serving within three days: refrigerate, then pull from the fridge to temper for 45-90 minutes before reheating. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a 325ºF oven for 5-8 minutes or until fragrant. Best eaten within 4-5 days of initial refrigeration. Would also work well in an air fryer, if you have one!
Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls
Leave out or refrigerate. If you want to enjoy them warm, pull from fridge to temper while preheating oven to 325º F. Bake for 5-8 minutes, until ooey gooey.
Turkey Gravy
Refrigerate. To reheat, heat in a small sauce pot on medium heat, stirring occasionally until heated through. Add water if you prefer a thinner gravy. May also be microwaved at 30 second intervals, stirring inbetween, until hot.
Whipped Cream
Refrigerate until use. May also be frozen, then tempered in the fridge for later use. Use a spatula and give it a few folds to incorporate more air before dolloping.
